North Yorkshire is home to two of England’s national parks: Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. It also includes Nidderdale National Landscape all of which I have visited and provide excellent walking opportunities. North Yorkshires coastline is some of the best in the North of England, with towns such as Whitby and Scarborough making common appearances during my childhood. I have such fond memories of these places and I look forward to experiencing them again in adulthood.
