Dartmoor National Park

Dartmoor National Park will always hold a special place in my heart. I first visited in 2020 in my first year at the University of Exeter and, it is really where I fell in love with exploring and hiking. Dartmoor is 954 square-kilometres of bog, tors and rolling hills in the Southwest of England. Well-known for its myths and legends, this national park is arguably one of the most barren in England and has prehistoric remains dating back to the Neolithic period. Take on the ten-tors challenge or cycle along the Granite Way from Okehampton to Tavistock.
