I’m extremely happy to call Cumbria my home. It is, of course, the home of the Lake District National Park, the UK’s most visited national park and UNESCO world heritage site. The Lake District is a hikers heaven with 231 Wainwrights to bag including England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike. Outside of the national park, Cumbria also contains some lesser-visited areas such as the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape, it’s west coast and part of the North Pennines which are equally as worthwhile to explore.
